When I push the power button on my TV I here a click and then another click a few seconds later. You don't feel any fuzz on the TV so I am pretty sure there is no major power suply to the TV. My question is whether it is the Fuse or the power coil. Does anyone have any ideas?

Re: TV does not turn on
Nope not a fuse as if it was you woundnt hear a click. And as to the "power coil" . are you refuring to a power transformer?? Nope not that as well. Could be a horizontal driver problem that happens a lot as the horizontal driver transformer gets or develops cold solder connections. Another problem could be a power suppy problem or a flyback transformer too. Good Luck

The fault is with its main board. Contact any service technician, or the authorized service center for Mitsubishi. I can't predict about how much you have to spend. It will depend upon the fault, and the sost of component/s have to be replaced.
Anyway, be sure, this is not an easy work, for a user to do. Gopakumar Gopalan Google
I would check for swollen capacitors on your power supply. If this is the case let me know. Can be a very easy and cheap fix. If you don't feel up to it, then just change the power supply, but that is pricey.
That's because somehow the lightening caused a fault in the power board. Ypu can try an unplug for 2 hrs and then reconnect and start again If that dosn't work you will require intevention to replace the power supply
