Thanks for the info on the temp sensor for my air conditioner. Does the sensor look like a small metal wire?? and if so how is the wire supposed to connect?

I have an Acurite weather station, model 02080, and when I place the lightning sensor outdoors as it states in setup, outdoor temp is indicated. How do I set it up to work properly?

The display has the internal sensor for temp and barometer, The 5 in one has the sensor for outdoors and shows temp, wind speed and direction, humidity and rain. With the added lightning detector having the additional temp sensor in it, the system is redundant. It is recommended to put the sensor outside for best results that t have the least interference and maximum range..

Temperature in display changes rapidly. No cool

After completing service ensure that indoor room sensor and coil sensor placed in it's position. If misplaced temp reduces rapidly and again restarts to increase.<br />Room sensor placed in middle of left corner of indoor coil. Out door is not working

Check for communication from indoor to out door.Check power in out door unit. If not, check the following.
Keep cool mode and temp setting minimum 3 degree less than room temp.
Check indoor unit return air sensor. Disconnect sensor from PCB and measure resistance. 8 kOhm at 30C and 13 kOhm at 20C if not replace air sensor

Check Indoor Pipe Sensor Disconnect from PCB and measure resistance. Pipe sensor = 5kOhm at 25C. If not replace pipe sensor.
Thanks and hope helpful?

PANASONIC CASSETTE AIRCONDITIONING ERROR CODE NO :- F27-02

f27- indoor outdoor unit disconnected. Check the power output of indoor and input of outdoor.
If no power you have to check indoor room temp sensor through which thermostat send command to outdoor unit. If your sensor is good, you have to repair/replace your PCB

Its not working and flashing P6. Its a Mr Slim

dear sir/madam i think.... mr Slim A control R407c & R410a systems.
P6 = indoor coil frost protection in cooling or indoor coil overheat protection in heating.

Cooling
One of the 2 indoor coil sensors reads minus 15 deg C for 3 mins.
Heating
One of the indoor coil sensors reads over 70 deg C.

If you are sure the refrigerant charge is correct & system operation is correct then it could be a coil temperature sensor reading wrong temperature.
If you have one of those little monitor things which plug into the outdoor circuit board you can monitor the indoor coil temperature.
On later type remote controllers you can get all operating data like temp sensor data but you will need a service manual to do this.
Or you can measure the ohms resistance of the temp sensors & compare with the chart in the service manual. if you can do it by yourself do if not then contatct ot mitsubishi maintenance personnnel for furhter action, thank you hope answer the question please vote!
