You're not going to find manual support for a flash card like the R4.
Your best bet is to just reformat the SD card and start over again.

If you suspect that you have unstable fake clone version you can get a genuine card there too. I managed to find this site after I got burned at a few others. Loved having my emails responded to because I had loads of questions, and they were quick to ship it.

I'm sorry you've experienced this. I regret to inform you that you wont be able to retrieve these photos. I wish the DSI had an option like a computer and send everything that's deleted to a trash bin. Unfortunately they do not.

That doesn't work,
Basically the DSI update has blocked the R4 slot card, nothing you can do now!
No matter what firmware you place onto the card the blocking device is built into the DSI memory, I've tried formatting/changing dates/other slot cards. no good.
Afraid to say the DSI is no longer compatable with the slot cards except for the authentic cards.
