Your guitar was made in Korea sometime during 1988-1996. That's as close as we can get.
Korean Fenders of this period were made at one of three plants, but serial numbering was chaotic and followed no set scheme. Quality also was seemingly variable. .
It is an FB-58 I believe. Since Fender doesn't actually make their banjos, Samick made the ones in Korea, Fender just put their name on it. ...I doubt you'll find anything meaningful in the serial number. their website goes up to the point where production moved from Japan to Korea to China.
The k in your serial number means it was made in Korea...which was sometime within the 2000's
