Howto reset the Motorola HDT101 DTV Receiver?

I forgot my password! How can I reset the password to 0000 ?? Thanks!

I have the same unit with '0000' on the front display.....

is the unit totally useless?

DTV says to call them and they would be happy to tell ya as Im not a dtv subscriber and they dont wanna know me Sorry but do report back please and let us know!!

I bought a used Motorola HDT101 High Definition Off Air Receiver and it has a security lock code from its previous owners on it. Is there a way to unlock this so I can use it?

you may have to reset it to factory setings so it can erase all previous data on tis device...most radio shacks can help wih his issue

I forgot my password for parental lock

Hi,

Call the dish network and say you forgot the password.They will send a parental hit that deletes the password.They will having some security questions to do that. Then you can reset the password to one you will remember.

What type of digital tv signal? Satellite or OTA (Local Digital Antenna Channels)?

What type of equipment is the split signal going to? Straight to the tv's or some sort of Satellite or HDTV Tuner box?

0000, then it is broken and there is nothing that you can do about it. I apologize
