Hi, I have a Nokia E5-00 and from last night it won't make outgoing calls. When I press the green 'call' button it just reverts to the previous screen. I can accept calls and also send texts and access the internet, it just won't let me call anyone! What can I do?

For Hard Reset:
This also restore your Nokia when it frezzes at the nokia screen logo only and didn't go any further.
hard reset is an options but will result to loosing all settings, contacts, data etc...

Turn your phone off and simultaneously press these four buttons circled in red.

* * (asterisk key)
* 3 (numeric 3 key)
* CALL / GREEN key
* On button

This is another method below found out by trial and error when the * + 3 + Call didnt work.

Switch your phone off.

Then, lay it down on a flat surface

With 3 finger of one hand, keep pressed shift, space bar and back space all at the same time

With one finger of the other hand, press the power on button

Do not release neither the 3 keys nor the power key till you see the nokia shakehands animation.

The problem is with your Phone Please Restore the factory setting only it'll solve your problem.
If it dos not solve then try to do this
1step Switch off your Mobile then
2nd Step You should press & hold 4 buttons on your mobile the buttons are * button, no3 button, call button & switch on button.
remember you should hold all 4 buttons until Nokia tune comes. all buttons will pressed in one time only you should not live any button in between.

what phone do you have?
usually if you press green button on Nokia you can get a list of all calls missed, answered or outgoing. Usually a rejected call will count as an answered call on your mobile, so check there.

it will show u recent calls, call duration, call cost etc....
press the centre button to right,
now it will show all incoming and outgoing conversations,
nowselect the options>filter>outgoing communications.
it will show u all the msg sent with details...
