When i turn the camera on it doesnt stay on and has a blank screen straight away ! Have i got to set it up with that disk first as its a new camera ?

The screen is black and means the liquid of the camera screen is coming out. you need to change another lcd.

Remove all of the ram, turn the laptop on if it does not beep you have a bad motherboard. If it beeps replace the memory and remove the hard drive turn on the laptop and see if it posts. If it posts without the hard drive then the hard drive is bad. Otherwise it is probably still a bad motherboard.

I found most Sony digital cameras took a little longer time to boot up on the first turn on after replacing battery. You can try turn off, then turn on again, see if it boots up quicker.

The Display button manually turns the LCD display on or off to save batteries. If you accidentally had turned the LCD off, It should only take one press of the button to turn it back on and leave it that way. As such, it's not you but the camera. The A570 IS is relatively new. Your camera is likely still under warranty. If so, contact Canon for warranty repair (see the following link):

First of all backup ur every important thing.Switch off ur phone hold *,3 and green call button at the same time and switch on ur phone.problem resolved.

Blank LCD on the camera
