First off if you recently replaced the ink cartrages make sure you took off the blue or clear plastic strips on the cartrage. if you did then clean the copper looking contacts with a lttle alcahol when the units unplugged. Then let dry reinstall cartriages and try again >If that dosent help Im afraid the printer is not worth what it would take to repair.Good luck (unless its under a warrantee)

There may be nothing you can do about it. A lot of the HP printers make a lot of noise as they start up or prepare to print. Has your printer always made this noise or did it just start?

Printer making a loud clicking noise...was printing, now it refuses to, solid orange light on.

Can you tell us which light on the modem has a solid orange light? The operator panel lights mean different things, depending on their sequence. Please tell us more about it so that we can assist with your issue.

I am trying to print a document ,i press the print icon and nothing happens. the print icon is at the bottom of the srceen awaiting print but nothing.

There could a lot of possible things happening right now. For one you could have a previous job that didn't finish. So delete all jobs from the print queue. Then go to control panel and go into printers and faxes. Make sure that the printer you are trying to use is set to the default and is ready. Then try and print to that printer again and double check when printing to make sure your printing to the correct printer. If you still need further assistance let me know.
thank you,

Second options: Click Start then select Run Type the word "net stop spooler" then "net start spooler" Then unplug and replug the printer while its on.

Make sure the cable to the printer is plugged in, if so try replacing the cable or trying another port. Also make sure the printer is the default printer selected in your control panel .
