Whether you have a remote or not, you'll need to access a menu screen and figure out how to use the volume buttons or channel buttons to highlight the scan for channels section and allow the TV to scan to pickup or drop channels.

It's usually somewhat self-explanatory once you've accessed the menu.

How do I hold onto CHANNEL 19 (1-7)to access COSI,ME,LAFF, ESCAPE & 2 ESPN radio 1490 & 1590) which I had when first scanned my TV at Christmas?

Do you have an outside antenna? If so start scanning for individual channels at 000. Move 5 degrees scan for individual channels again. Move 5 degrees more. You must scan for individual channels. A wide range scan will erase everything else.
Go to Menu. Hit 7343 then mute. This should take you to a menu with a single scan option. It will take a very long time to complete this. Once you have scanned in every direction, be sure to NEVER hit the wide scan.
