I need the control remote code

irect Code Entry for GE remotes with 4 digit codes

The following is a short tutorial on entering the codes on GE 4 digit code universal remotes. See also this page for general GE remote code entering instructions!
Step 1: Press and hold the "SETUP" button until the red indicator stays on, then release.
Step 2: Press and release the desired Mode button (VCR, TV etc.). The red indicator will blink, then stays lit.
Step 3: Enter the 4 digit code for your device. After a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes!
Step 4: With your device on, press "CHANNEL UP" or "CHANNEL DOWN." If the device responds, no further programming is required. If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand. Note, when all codes have been searched the red indicator flashes rapidly for 3 seconds.

Code Search instructions

If your device does not respond to any of the codes listed with your equipment, or your brand is not listed, try the following steps:
Step 1: Manually turn on the device to be controlled.
Step 2: Press and hold the "SETUP" button until the red indicator stays on, then release.
Step 3: Press and release the desired Mode button (VCR, TV etc.). The red indicator will blink once, then stays on.
Step 4: Press the "CHANNEL UP" button repeatedly until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator will blink, then stays lit.
Step 5: Press and release "MUTE" button to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Generally it's best to store VCR codes under the VCR button, cable codes under CBL, and so on. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter any VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

How do I set up universal remote for my Ilo TV model #DTV2784 and Sylvania DVD player model #DV220SLB. Got the separate VHS player to work, but not the DVD player. Was looking for Aux channel on TV f

Codes to check with ILO TV are: 0198 1070 1024 1023 . Keep in mind that.
If one code do not match with your TV, try an other code only after switch OFF the TV by its Main Power On/Off switch, and switch it back again.
Direct Code Entry
  1. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  2. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  3. Enter the 4 digit code from the code tables. Note: after a valid code entry, the red indicator turns off. For an invalid code, the red indicator flashes.
  4. With your device on, press CHANNEL UP. If the device responds, no further programming is required. Note: If some buttons do not operate your device, try one of the other codes for your brand.

Code Search
If after trying "Direct Code Entry" your device does not respond, or if your brand is not listed, try doing a search of the code library for your code by following these steps.
  1. Manually turn on the device (TV, VCR, etc.) to be controlled.
  2. Press and hold the SETUP button until the red indicator stays on, then release the SETUP button.
  3. Press and release the desired Mode button (TV, VCR, etc.). The red indicator blinks once, then stays on.
  4. Press the CHANNEL UP button repeatedly (up to 300 times) until the device to be controlled changes channel. The red indicator blinks, then stays lit.
  5. Press and release MUTE to install the code. The indicator light goes off.
Most users will want to store VCR codes under the VCR button, Cable codes under CBL, etc. If you want to store a VCR code under CBL, etc., first follow the procedure for Direct Code Entry and press CBL in step 2 of Direct Code Entry, then enter ANY VCR code in step 3 of Direct Code Entry. Then follow the steps above for Code Search.

I want to play Dvd's from Europe so I want a region code free.

1. Power ON the main unit (some unlocks work with, some with no disc inside)
2. Press the SETUP button (on the top of the player) to open the setup menu
3. Navigate to the PREFER menu using the button below the screen
4. Press NEXT>, PREVIOUS, NEXT>, PREVIOUS, NEXT>, NEXT>, aPREVIOUS

(NEXT> and PREVIOUS are on the top of the player next to the SETUP button. Don't use the menu navigation buttons below the screen for this.)

5. The current Region of the player should be displayed on the screen

6. Use the menu navigation UP/DOWN buttons (below the screen) to change the region. Region 0 is region-free.

7. Press PLAY/OK (below the screen) to confirm the region selection

The player should now be unlocked and able to play discs from all regions - it worked on my PD9012/37 that was region 1

Please note: Unlocking a DVD player may invalidate the warranty and some DVD players have been damaged through failed attempts to unlock them. Unlocking the DVD player is attempted at your own risk.

Screen says" Loading PBR for descriptor

And again and again and drives you up the wall.OK-boot sector is corrupted, or hard drive is going south. What you can try is system restore. On boot see which button is designated for that-usually f10 or f12.Start tapping that button and follow instructions. If that failed, the only option is to reinstall OS.If you have a lot of stuff that you want to save, install Windows in different folder, say WindowsA.All your stuff will be saved on the Hard drive-My Documents.Good luck and keep us posted.
