You have 6-year 50 gallon gas water heater:
42V50 would be the newer model number. They make tall and short models.

All brands of water heater are good.
So any 50 gallon gas water heater from local box store or hardware is good product.
Tanks with longer warranty last longer. So 9-year and 12-year water heater will last longer, unless you have very hard water or odor in water and need to change frequently.
I recommend avoiding water heaters with electronic controls since they are not protected from power surge and can cost more to repair.

I have a Park Model RV with a Rheemglas Fury model 81VP205 with no bottom drain. How do I drain the water heater to winterize for the cold Northern Winters?

Make sure it's off (hydro) and open drain at cold line going in bottom wherever you find a drain (usually close to it) going down through floor and outside under trailer. Follow cold line back until you see a line "T" and one line going down under trailer, and open it up underneath. Then open pressure relief valve at top of tank to allow for faster draining .

I need anode rod for my rheemglas fury model # 81V52DT. do you know what the part # is or maybe the dementions. There seems to be several diffrent ones out there. Thanks

Anode rods are generic and available from local plumbing supply store or internet.
Just cut it off so it drops into the tank without touching the bottom or sediment on the bottom.
If there is not enough room above the tank to install new rod, then buy anode rod with sausage links.

Rheemglas fury model # 41V50 the approx. 5 gal pressure tank above the water heater is corroded and leaking. how difficult to replace and what is the name of the tank

1) If tank is connected with single pipe to cold water line, then it could be expansion tank.
Add a comment with photo so I can see.

2) Take photo to plumbing supply store.
Expansion tanks unscrew from pipe. Simply install it and it has internal pressure bladder.
Has to install on cold water line.

I have a Rheemglas Fury Model #81V52S C, MFG date 05/2003, 50 gal Does not heat properly--not long enough. I Cannot find a gauge, or know how to adjust tempeture--hope that is only problem--please...

One of the elements may be bad. With the power off check each one with an ohm meter. Should show continuity.

The tube the cold water come in through goes to the bottom of the tank. If it has come loose and the cold water stays on the top you wouldn't have much hot water.

How do I turn up the temp on my Rheemglas fury 82V80-2?

You have 2 thermostats inside of those covers, little things with a dial on them, turn them with a small screwdriver, Don't go too hot or you will be scalding everybody. Hope this helps.

Water discoloration. Rhreem serial rh0909ff00279 date 9/2003 model 8v520c 50 gal electric rheemglas fury. prolem occures when we use hot water. tried fixing...backwashed, drained water out completely...

Brown discoloration is evidence of a rusting or corroded steel pipe somewhere in you plumbing system. Trace the water lines back from the faucet and replace all the steel pipe.
White discoloration is minerals that separate out when the water is heated.
You can change the Anode Rod and it should help. It is not an instant fix, the rod will take a week or two to do its job.
If your water heater is still under warranty, call Rheem, they may replace the water heater free.
