Eo4 error I have a JVC gr-dvx8 video camera and Ikeep getting eo4 no matter what I do after a short time same message

Hi a malfunction of some kind has occurred in this case the camcorders functions become unusable. -eject the cassette once and re-insert it - it claers up yoy sould consult your nearst jvc dealer. good luck

Jvc dvx8 video camera head cleaning fault

The cleaning tapes that are available are often ineffective. The heads are cloggd up and need to be cleaned professionally. The only way to clean these now is top open up the unit. This should only be done by a service center as it is easy to cause more damage. Also at the same time, the alignment should be checked.

E04 Error

Eject tape leaving cover open and remove battery. Re-insert battery and re-insert tape also leaving cover open. Keep repeating this process until eo4 message disappears. This worked for my GR-DVL100e after about four repeats. After getting your camcorder operational, they say it is good practice not to leave tape in camcorder when not in use.

HI SIR the fault is caused either by the take up or supply reel in the camera they are not rotating when the tape is inserted.maybe A defective tape or hung reel brake can cause this issue.or maybe a bad loosen guide of the tape path is lame , Try replacing the tape, if this does not resolve the problem you may need to seek professional service to have the reels checked. thanx and plz try to rate and remember i am here just to help u thx
