Go to Furuno's website and you should be able to download the manual. There are also DVDs you can buy but I felt they were all too general to be of any help, so I wouldn't waste my money on those.
I have had this before when the paper was the wrong size. make sure the paper is the same width as the printer and it is covering the little sensor on the printer. Make sure you have closed the platten arm down onto the paper fully. If this doesn't correct the problem, you may have to see a dealer.
