Unfortunately, the only way to "fix" this is to replace the flat panel itself. This is not a cheap repair. I don't have a source for parts for your model. I would check with the place of purchase or look in the owner's manual for a service center and inquire about the replacement parts cost. Be prepared for a large number.

There are lines through the screen (red and blue) like the screen is cracked but the screen s not cracked as far as i can see

If the set got struck on the screen the screen itself may not be cracked but the panel (The entire front where you view the image is called a display panel) may be damaged inside.

A good photo would tell me--usually it will look like a odd burst or lines and or colors more pronounced where the screen was hit and spreading out in a uneven pattern---Google for "Pictures of Damaged LCD or Plasma screens"
tip

What to do when you have a cracked LCD, LED or Plasma TV

Spending a ton of money on a new TV is the norm these days. Unfortunately televisions are not made like they used to be. Flat panel LCD, LED and Plasma TVs are very fragile. The picture area can be cracked by even light objects hitting the TV.

Once the picture is cracked there is no way to repair it. It needs to be replaced. TV manufacturers purchase LCD, LED and Plasma screens in large quanities and get a great price. When your local repair shop has to purchase a single replacement unit, you will often find it is as expensive if not more expensive then a new TV (if its even avaliable) when you factor in the labor costs. Usually you are better off replacing the TV with a brand new set the next time a good sale comes up then have it repaired.

You would think the TV's warranty or extended warranty you purchased would cover a cracked screen. Alas.. they don't. Every warranty I have ever read does not cover accidental damage. As soon as the repair person sees the screen is cracked, they will tell you the warranty does not cover it and you are out of luck.

While there isn't much hope for repairing your current TV, you can take some simple steps to protect your new TV from damage.

1. Mount the TV on the wall. Its a lot harder for little kids to hit the TV or throw something at the TV when it is mounted on the wall vs sitting on a stand.

2. Explain to the family how fragile the TV is. While this might seem obvious.. kids do know things until they are taught.

3. Wear the wrist strap while playing video games as recommended!

4. Pickup a tv screen protector from a company like TV Armor. They are designed to provide impact protection for the TV without affecting the picture.

Following these simple steps can keep you enjoying your new TV for many years to come even if you do have a budding baseball player at home.

Plasma t.v fell and screen cracked

Hi,
Sad to say that the panel is the most expensive parts on your TV, it will cost you almost the same as a new set. Since it is less than a year, it is still under warranty period however accidental damaged will not covered by the warranty. I would advice you to contact the dealer where you bought the unit and inquire if they can do something on your problem. Cracked screen is not repairable, the only solution is to replaced it with a new one.

No repairs on cracked screen, and to replace is not worth it, check vancebaldwin.com

I hit the screen and it has lines all over it can it be repaired

It can be repaired, however it sounds like your cracked the panel and those are expensive. Depending on the repair cost it might make more sense to buy a new TV rather then replacing the panel. Especially if the TV is more then a couple years old.

Cracked screen please let me know if its cheaper to fix or just buy a new one. Fix or not?

This depends upon an number of things. I'm assuming the unit is at least 32-inches diagnoal.
Repair will probably cost upwards of $200 depending upon the size of the screen.
How old is the unit? If it's older than 3 years, replacing it would give you a better overal performing unit.
What size screen is it? The size of glass replacement could be costly.
Is it just the screen that is cracked or is there something else wrong with it. If it's older than 3 years, a new one will be better. New units are much more reasonably priced now.
Also, before you decide I would make a few calls to local repair shops to ask the estimated cost of replace and repair and how long the repair will take (parts could be a problem).

Accidentally hit screen now it has a rainbow line down the middle would it be possible to fix?

Probably not. It sounds like the panel(screen) may have cracked inside. It happens all the time. Unfortunately, it will cost as much, if not more than the tv is worth to replace the panel.

Multi colored lines running from top of screen to bottom

panel is cracked the cost of the repair is usually about 90 percent of the cost of the tv when purchased new. panel and labor. not worth if panel is cracked.

Cracked screen

The LCD screen itself often cost more then the tv set itself. If you have accidental insurance you might see if they cover this, otherwise this will make a nice lava lamp like art display for a bedroom wall.......
