Black line on all faxes I send to recipients

The fax machine has ADF roller on the top of scanner, foun at the bottom of the fax when you open the top cover.
Pl. do clean the whit roller with lint free cotton cloth dampen with mild soap(care to be taken not flow the liquid inside.),
If still problem persists contact service centre to replace the CIS (rare).

Make sure the **** glass is clean, use a micro fiber cloth to wipe the debris/old toner or white out off the glass. restart the fax machine. If it prints this black line from a copy and it is 2" wide after you have cleaned both the glass and the white reference bar, most likley the scanner itself has failed.

Your scanner glass is caked with ink or lint. Open front cover and clean with windex or rubbing alcohol.

You have a defective Scanner Block. EXPENSIVE

Change the chrage roller and the OPC drum and cleaning blade.

HELLO! ON THE 4100 LIFT UP THE KEY BOARD AND YOU WILL SEE A SCANNER GLAS. CLEAN THE GLASS WITH WINDEX AND THEN TRY IT. THE REASON THERE ARE NO SPOTS ON THE CONF PAGE AS THIS IS A INTERNAL REPORT

you need to replace the fuser roller in the fuser.

Clean the roller with alcohol and then try. It will work fine.

Not good! It sounds like you have a bad scanner assembly. Make a copy of something and you probably will see the same result.
