Sorry bower hate to be the messanger of bad news but crts are not wired intogeather except the filiments are wired in Paralell Opps (spelling sucks)when you say no guns are comming on have you opened the set to see if the "guns" as you call them are all lite up on each crt?? These are know as filiments by the way. Now if all three tubes are lite up then you have a sweep falure most likely or a High voltage shut down and is probably past your range of trouble shooting Im guessing??? But if all three guns are lite up that would be a good thing to tell your repirman but he will know haver a short time what your problem is anywho. and what im guessin is the horiz drive or vert sweep problems?? Good luck

Tvs use high power so it can be dangerous to poke around in them. This model uses a 3 gun projection maybe one gun has quit and breaks the cirquit so that they all stop? When i search this model on google i see alot of part numbers for red replacement and the full projection unit including the anode. There is a service manual available for it also from "Tiger direct"

that is one truly unhappy device..sounds like the video board is on it's way out..could be the imaging system too, but then, you'd be looking at a whole system replacement

Where is the flybac located in a rca hd52w59

Flyback transformer other wise called Line output transformer {LOT} is actually a step up transformer, which supplies extra high tension voltages to the guns. It can be locatee on the main printed circuit board. 2_7_2012_5_19_59_pm.jpgJust see the different views of the main board of your RCA TV. You can see the flyback transformer at the left top corner, look like a large black componen; with a ferrite "U" type core goes though it. It is the LOT. Line Output Transformer, otheriwse called as Flyback Transofrmer. OK.

The info on the gun says it will shoot many different staples, but it will only take 3/8 staples and I need to use 1/2 staples to do the job.

The T50P stapler uses T50 staples of various lengths, including 3/8, 7/16, and 1/2. Is it possible that the 1/2 inch staples you are trying to use are not T50? All T50 staples are the same width and should fit your stapler. There are several other widths of staples that are not T50, although T50 is the most common.

Its a large transformer with either 1 0r 4 large red wire simallar to a spark plug wire coming out of it. Depends on chassis number wether it has1 or 4 red wires coming from it. Let me know if you need more info or a link where you can get a service manual.

Replace the green projection gun

I have almost the same problem, but it was with the blue CRT tube. The coolant leaked onto the underlying PCB and caused short-circuits and sparking or arking. I purchased an exact replacement PCB for the CRT, but I suspected most of its coolant had gone, so I need to re-fill the coolant for the blue CRT to stay cool.

No Power up??

You could have a bad high voltage transformer AKA a flyback. This set could have also one of a dozen or so problems. If you have any electronic repair experience, first get a service manual and start from there. If you do not Please play it safe as there are no user replaceable parts insiide this set As this TV set is not the place to be experiementing around the inside of. Call in a tech. Good Luck PS please do not forget to rate this thread.

It needs repaired. I can think of many different possibilities causing the problem: 1. Shorted video luminance driver transistor. Should be under $200 total repair if you take set in. 2. Shorted green kine bias transistor. $200 3. Failed jungle ic. $250 4. Shorted green gun in the picture tube. More than you paid for tv set... Rca picture tubes commonly run 25% more than the tv set did new!!!!!!!
