Have to turn off power strip. Model is Ns PDP 32-09 I thought it was cable box Att Uverse so ordered a new box, but that was not the case. TV is only 3 years old.

SOURCE: Controls Don't Work

I have this EXACT SAME problem with my Insignia 26" LCD TV. I was three weeks out of warranty when it happened and Insignia wouldn't do anything to help me. I brought it to three repair shops and each repairman said that they couldn't guarantee they could fix it even IF they got the right parts. Anyhow, the TV repairman had it for three months (getting parts shipped from Asia, repair time, etc.) and he couldn't fix it. He also told me that tons of other people have the issue and that Insignia is replacing their TVs under warranty. So, if your TV is still under warranty, call Insignia. You just have to pay for shipping and shipping insurance. Hope this helps!

This television, appears to have had a failure in the mainboard. This is the board that controls the video functions and sound functions. The unit should be taken or sent in to a service center for testing and servicing. The service center will have all the correct service information to determine the problem for you. SOURCE: Programing Remote

1343 or 1005 are the codes - press the TV mode button and the OK button together - the release at the same time - the top row of mode buttons needs to blink twice - then enter the code - the TV button should blink 2 times - try the power and volume buttons - if it worked then be sure to press the ATT mode button again after so you can change the channels

Try 1864. It worked for a Media-Com remote, when none of the other codes worked.

SOURCE: Insignia lcd tv model ns-ltdvd26 has sound but no picture

89b4b4c.jpg

the pic attached is an electrolytic capacitor, they come in different sizes and are usually blue, black and sometimes yellow. depending on manufacture.

most of the problems I have heard of tvs having problems with the electrolytic capacitors going bad. if you open the tv and see one of those swollen or leaking you need to replace them.

I have evenly spaced, rows of two vertical green and red lines from top to bottom of my vizio plasma P50HDTV10A

Somehow when switching between the tv and the dvd my wife encountered the pink and green, thin, parallel, vertical lines on the screen. The picture was visible with the lines. I turned the tv off and on but the problem persisted. Unplugged tv for about two minutes and after plugging it back in and turning it on the vertical lines very gone and the picture was back to normal.

Screen turns green after 20 minutes of use

static line at top is a problem with the broadcast input. many cable boxes and satellites create this because they dont quite fill the true resolution that the tv is capable of. the green splotches sound like overheating of the lcd lamps. id return it for a new one.
