Sounds like you have damaged the LCD. The LCD is made of 2 sheets of glass and then there is a liquid between the sheets that carry light. Sometimes the glass can crack and the liquid will leak or bleed and then the unit needs a replacement LCD. An impact can crack the glass, dropping it or freezing the unit. A damaged LCD is common because they are so small and thin you cant push on them. A used LCD runs about $40. labor may be a bit more if this is the problem. People buy broken cameras on e-bay it maybe cheaper to get a different unit. If its under warantee you may be able to sxchange it. On the bottom of your camera there is an A/V port you can hook the unit to a tv. To verify the screen is damaged hook it to a tv and see if you can see an image on the tv in record or review mode and see if the LCD and the tv view are the same. You could still use it if the LCD is damaged but you will need another way to view the menu. I have done this

How to adjust the color on a HP Officejet 4635 Printer? The is much darker and "off" color from the original picture.

Colour control is not a function of the printer. You need to adjust your PC/laptop display to show a more realistic image by sourcing some test patterns, see link:
http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test

When your screen is properly set up, open the picture you want to print and see what it looks like. Use a suitable photo editor to adjust brightness, contrast etc. and then try printing again.

I have an LCD TV. All of a sudden the picture colour has gone wierd. The best way to describe it is that it is similar to either a colour negative or one of those scientific 'false colour' images. This...

TFTs can produce a wide array of colors, but it takes an enormous number of transistors to make up a display, and a problem with any one of them creates a defective pixel on the screen. Typically this shows up as a bright spot on a dark background, caused by a damaged TFT failing to turn off a pixel. Most active matrix displays contain a few bad pixels, but a few bad pixels are not going to have much of an impact on the overall picture.
The properties of liquid crystal material can create problems with viewing angle effects, causing the image to darken, disappear, or reverse the dark and light tones when the viewer is not directly in front of the display (kind of like looking at the negative of a photo). The light bulbs make LCDs heavier than the plasma TVs (though they are still lightweights compared to CRT televisions.
Benefits of LCD TVs include a picture that can't burn in and doesn't deteriorate over time. Because of their flat-panel nature, placement options are plentiful, optimizing the cool factor over standard TVs

COLOURS WILL NOT WORK ON PRINTER

What does the nozzle check pattern show? If the check pattern is patchy or has lines missing then you need to clean the head. If you are using rubbish compatible inks instead of the genuine stuff then doing head cleans may make the situation worse.

See my previous post about under head cleaning and follow the instructions there.

If the check pattern is good you may be experiencing a common CX problem with one of the vacuum pipes. A rescue kit is available from tradebit
