Question about Sony PlayStation Portable (PSP) Console
One day my little brother dropped a very light weighted bucket on my psp, that was about the size of your hand, and shut itself off. But I turned it back on and it worked fine, but a day or so later, the green power button light comes on, but the screen is just black. What is wrong with my psp, and how do I fix it?
P.S. (I have the old PSP)
It seems that inside your PSP the LCD Screen Connection cable (The broad One) which is connected to the motherboard is being loose contact so if you can open the PSP try it by re-fixing the cable again otherwise you better go for a technician who will do the same job for you.

Open the battery compartment, and remove the battery. Look at the bottom inside corner for a little square sticker with has marks on it. is it dark or light, If it is dark, your PSP has come in contact with moisture. I suspect that your PSP has gotten wet or damp. If the sticker is dark, you need to keep your battery out for about 2 days, and keep the UMD door open and the whole PSP kept in a dry environment. Try it after 2 days of drying to see if it is recovered. Good luck Gohan....
