I suggest to try with another disc. If that happens again, then try to clean lens with special disc. And if then won't help, then you'll need to change laser that reads discs. Usually it's not worth trying

The disc is stuck and the display reads "No disc".

Ok one easy fix to this is to tilt the player while the system is on whilst constantly pressing the eject button. I once had to even turn the whole thing upside down then back and shake a little until the disk positioned itself properly to eject. good luck

Hi there!
It could be possible that your disc is already damaged. The system can no longer read the data on the disc. Have you tried using a different disc? Did it work or was the system able to read it? If so, your disc could have already been damaged.
Hope this helps!

My navagation system keeps saying that it "cannot read disk" please check disk. Do i need a new disk or is something wrong with my system? 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

Hi,

the the problem is from the laser (lens) of your navigation system. It cannot read disk because the laser (lens) is weak or dirty.

Its might also be that the disk you inserted into the system has some scratches or the disc is bad. Try several discs on the system.

If problem still persists after trying several discs, get the laser replaced and it should read disk again.

Good luck.

Software disc bent from out of box "won`t read disc!"

Take it back. Buy a new one. Download a new one if you have the serial numbers. Contact the company. What software is it?
