SOURCE: drum reset for Panasonic kx-mb781

There is a little special (white) gear on the outer left side of the drumkit - a little bit below where the toner sits. That gear joins with toner mixing assy - and you can rotate it in counterclockwise all the way back. This should reset the drum counter - worked for me - I hope it also does the trick for you ;-)

SOURCE: reset drum

I think this machine does not have a reset option instead you can reset manually. All you have to do is on the right side of drum unit there exist a white + type notch, rotate it clockwise till it allows.Put back drum unit into machine.Switch on and see replace drum and supplies message will disappear. In my case it worked.Hope this is the best solution. All the best

SOURCE: What does e0122 error code on panasonic workio dp

the best solution to that problem is that there's a dirt on the shafting of the polygon motor, try applying some lubricant to make the polygon motor go smooth.

The drum density sensor is covered in toner and needs to be cleaned. this is a job for a trained engineer.

Panasonic DP3030 Workio copier - won't feed document on top ADF

Hi p Hinkle,

Go in to function mode (function + original size + 3 at the same time). Go to F7 for counters, find the fuser web counter and set it to 240,000 to reset it. Set any other counter alarms that go off to 0. The maintenance period is supposed to be 240k copies, but from the factory it comes set as 120k so you can change that if you want.

Drum reset counter

When the drum is replaced the counter on the DP-C264 automatically resets. If it does not reset then the flag on the back of the drum has been damaged in shipment or during the install of the drum.

How do i Reset U29 ( Replaced drum )

In the manual it will tell you how to reset the drum counter on Page 190 (DP-C265 manual). Reset all the different counters and that will likely clear the problem. A lot of sites want you to buy new drums at $170 a crack. I have reset mine 3 times already and still have perfect printing over 100,000 copies later.

yes there is a user troubleshooting to reset the drum counter.
you may follow these steps:

  1. press FUNCTION key
  2. press 1 to select general setting, then press SET to select
  3. press scroll V or /\ to locate the "replace drum" setting
  4. it think it will as for confirmation, if so just press 1 for yes, or 2 for no.

  6. you might turn off/on your machine if needed.
that's it. :)

Workio DP2330 copier problem service icon display on the screen and also status LED lights.

Your machine is probably due for a maintenance. Check the counter, and if it is over 220 000 pages a maintenance is needed. the only way to reset maint. counter is trough service mode F7. To acces service mode press Fonction, Original Size and the 3 key in the same time. to exit service mode press fonction and clear key.

Req: Panasonic Workio DP-4530 service manual

In the service mode there might be an automatic fuser and drum cleaning mechanism that could be activated. The fuser web is in the drum section of the unit and when this is coated with toner and the cleaning mechanism is inactive, you could get this problem.

Let me know if you do not know how to get into the service mode of the copier. It normally is pressing the following three buttons simultaneously - Original, Function and the number 3. It may take a few tries before you get the sequence properly. Also, if it requests a password, try 0000 or 00000000 (8 zeros or 4 zeros)
