Keep Getting Error Message "(Colour) Toner Not Installed"

Although all 4 toner cartridges are installed in the printer (and all have toner therein) I keep getting the above error message. If I remove and put back the cartridge specified in the error message, the printer tells me that another colour cartridge isn't installed...and so on... and so on.
All toner cartridges are Konica Minolta manufactured.
Any ideas?

I have the same problem, I usually just turn the printer back off and on again, untill the light turn green instead of the orange with the [colour] toner missing message.I tried the rotating the cardridge fix, but I'm not sure if it truely helped, since you have to turn the printer off and on to do it.

The error message usually states magenta, but I have had Cyan a couple of times aswell.

I have found that sometimes the micro-chip on the upper right of the cartridge when looking at it installed is tightened too tight. I looked at the other cartridges and the chip was slighlty raised, then looked at the cyan, and the micro-chip was setting down a lot lower. I lossened the cyan just a hir so it had that same raised look as the others and voila, It Worked. Yay!

I think in the menu you have to select replace cartride.. then new or same with new toner...

each toner cartridge has connections and you must make sure all are tight... or you get alot of errors.

I did not have any error message for each color. My message error was sepcific for magenta after I removed it to refill it. After refilling, cleaning metal contact points, resetting the metal tab which prevents message of "low toner", I put the cartridge back in and received the "magenta toner not installed" message. I turned off the printer (safety first!) , I then pushed the button left of the hole where you slide the cartridge in, There is a squarish hole with a circular or cynlinder shaped button in that squarish hole. Use a small screw driver to push and hold it in. While the button is held in I gently rotated the cartridges so that my magenta cartridge was no longer in view, (rotate them counter clockwise). I released the button, shut the door, then turned on the printer.

Hp clj 2025 cleaning

I had the same problem and it was the pick-up roller that was at fault. You can buy a new one for less than 20GBP or do what I did. Take the old one out and reverse the rubber. There are plenty of online tutorials on how to change the pick-up roller - the first one you remove. It's a two minute job. Reversing the rubber is easy. Just prize the inner clip out of the roller and put the rubber back on with the shiny side out. It worked first time and no more print errors. Brand new lexmark original cartridge is not recognised. error report' no cartridge'. all contacts cleaned machine dismantled and cleaned and reassembled. has done this before on occasion with refilled...

1. Open the top front cover of the printer. If the display DOES NOT read Close cover or Insert cartridge, the 32 error is not caused by the toner cartridge and printer service will be required to fix the problem.

2. Make sure the correct toner cartridge is installed for this printer model.
1. Check Lexmark for a list of compatible cartridges for your printer.
2. If the wrong toner cartridge is installed, remove it and install the correct one.

3. If the correct toner cartridge is installed, it may not be seated correctly. To ensure that this is not the cause of the error, do the following:
1. Turn off the printer.
2. Reseat the toner cartridge.
3. Close the lid.
4. Power the printer back on and check the display.

4. If reseating the toner cartridge does not clear the error message and the error started as soon as you installed this particular toner cartridge, the cartridge may be broken. You can check this as follows:
1. Power off the printer and then reinstall the old cartridge. (You can also try a different new cartridge to see if that clears the error.)
2. If the error does disappear, the problem may lie with this cartridge. Please contact the point of purchase, especially if the cartridge is brand new out of the box.

5. If the error cannot be cleared by putting in a new toner cartridge or one that is known to be working, the printer may require service to fix the problem.

This error message appears on the printer screen when the printer thinks the wrong toner cartridge is installed. To clear it or identify a service requirement, follow the steps below. I have M1522n HP Laser printer and keep getting message 10.1000 supply memmory error can anyome explain what this means

The HP LaserJet 2300 toner cartridge has a smart chip on the top left side. This chip tells the printer when the toner is low.

Recycled toners do not or can not reset the chip, therefore when you use a recycled toner you may get toner low messages although the toner is good.

Also, you may get the 10.10.00 error. We have devised a work around to fool the printer into not displaying the message.

Place a stip of opaqe tape or paper or the chip. When the printer detects a non-standard cartridge press the green (go) button. It will then reset the LCD to Ready.

Found this info on a recycled manufacturer site.

I have replace the yellow colour and ever since the printer comes up with a error saying no toner

this is a very annoying error message

Konica Minolta Magicolor 2400/2500 series printer "X cartridge not installed" One of the most frustrating features of the Magicolor 2400/2500 series of printers is the very annoying X Cartridge not installed message
This error message can occur at any time with both original cartridges and or refilled cartridges. It is caused by either toner / paper dust covering either the chip on the toner cartridge or dust covering the chip sensor inside the printer. It can also be caused by a faulty chip reader inside the printer.

The printer uses a carousel to rotate the toner cartridges. Dust and toner can easily spill as the cartridges rotate. The error can appear at any time but seems to be most annoying after a paper jam or other error. It is also important to make sure that the cartridges themselves are clear of toner dust. Pay particulair attention to any copper contacts on the cartridge.
