Although all 4 toner cartridges are installed in the printer (and all have toner therein) I keep getting the above error message. If I remove and put back the cartridge specified in the error message, the printer tells me that another colour cartridge isn't installed...and so on... and so on.
All toner cartridges are Konica Minolta manufactured.
Any ideas?
I think in the menu you have to select replace cartride.. then new or same with new toner...
each toner cartridge has connections and you must make sure all are tight... or you get alot of errors.
I did not have any error message for each color. My message error was sepcific for magenta after I removed it to refill it. After refilling, cleaning metal contact points, resetting the metal tab which prevents message of "low toner", I put the cartridge back in and received the "magenta toner not installed" message. I turned off the printer (safety first!) , I then pushed the button left of the hole where you slide the cartridge in, There is a squarish hole with a circular or cynlinder shaped button in that squarish hole. Use a small screw driver to push and hold it in. While the button is held in I gently rotated the cartridges so that my magenta cartridge was no longer in view, (rotate them counter clockwise). I released the button, shut the door, then turned on the printer.

I have the same problem, I usually just turn the printer back off and on again, untill the light turn green instead of the orange with the [colour] toner missing message.I tried the rotating the cardridge fix, but I'm not sure if it truely helped, since you have to turn the printer off and on to do it.
The error message usually states magenta, but I have had Cyan a couple of times aswell.
Yep, me too on my Minolta 2200.
I Replace the Cyan Toner, now the printer will not see the new toner.?

I have found that sometimes the micro-chip on the upper right of the cartridge when looking at it installed is tightened too tight. I looked at the other cartridges and the chip was slighlty raised, then looked at the cyan, and the micro-chip was setting down a lot lower. I lossened the cyan just a hir so it had that same raised look as the others and voila, It Worked. Yay!
