Question about Dell Computer Refurbished PE3250 SYSTEM BOARD Computer (K3156) Motherboard
Some times you can screw up your display setting and such and it will affect the mouse speed.
Even more RAM can give you more HP from your computer. 2 GB
Dual core being the next best thing, and Quad core even faster. Computer work on jobs as threads. Multi-threading is what makes it capable to be online with 12 different windows open. Checking your email and Downloading some music with no visible lag issues!
You seem very tech savvy and I would say get books on A+ and Net+ certifications. Even better ideas are Cisco (CCNA) certification and MCSE. Study, take the practice tests till you can answer them sleeping and register at certified testing facility and take test(s). CCNA is very hard and is not a Multiple choice test but a evolving test. Just my thought, I spent $24,000 and went to a Tech school and have a certificate, I am just saying your background gives you an advantage.

Sometimes this delay is a result of the video trying to catch up with the data involved. Just shooting from the hip, I would recommend turning off some of the bells and whistles that tend to slow down the video on windows computers. Try this to see if it matters: click Start, Settings, Control Panel, System, Advanced tab, under the title Performance click Settings, then pick the radio button for best performance. Click OK on the buttons until all these windows are closed. Most of this unnecessary overhead will slow all but the best equipped machines. Also be sure you have all the latest drivers on this fresh installation. Hope this helps
