I have a Toshiba 40ft1u tv that needs a main board 461C2P51L12' 431C2P51L12' STF32T' VTV-L32606

Here is a board, it's from Canada but with shipping is not to bad priced at $60. I know nothing about the seller so it's possible you could get a defective board. I assume your missing the ps_on signal from the main and that's why the set won't turn on

Have a Lg tv when I plug it in I hear a clicking noise from the main board and the power light blinks. I can press the reset button and the clicking will stop but tv still won’t come on. Is the main board...

Depending on the model maybe. Tv's like all electronic items use multiple circuits that are interconnected. So if you have a problem like you described it can be any interconnected board. I experienced problems like you described many times. Use your eyes and nose. Turn off the power, remove all boards and visually inspect. While boards are out sniff each board. Look on both sides of each board. If nothing is found I would start with the power supply and replace it. You can check the output voltage where the power supply connects the the main board. It is harder to check the main board function because the signals pulsing thru the main board require specialized equipment.

How do I solve a power up / switch on problem with a Toshiba TV model REGZA 37WLT68?

may be a bad Capacitor on the motherboard, or its a bad power supply board. upon disassembly look at the Caps (image posted) near where the power goes into the tv. Typically larger ones. if any of them look swollen or burnt, then that is your problem. it must be de sautered and replaced with one of the same specs. if all of them look okay, then you probably need a new power supply board, which should be seperate board from the main board of the tv, depends on the model though. Also, check all around the board, there may be a bad (watch) battery on the board or a bad (glass) fuse.(also imaged)

Difficulty turning on

while I do not have specific experience with this particular TV as of the moment of writing this, the complaint you have is a very common one accross the board.

it is caused by one of two things: bad power supply or bad main board.

When in the power supply it is usually (not necessarily) caused by electrolytic capacitors (cylinders with aluminium tops standing vertically on the board) going bad. If so then those can usually (again not necessarily) be seen with naked eye as bulging on top.

The same can be true for the main board, but capacitors there are much smaller in size and harder to see bulging; more importantly, when in a main board it is often a result of a cold solder joint, usually in a BGA array (solder balls under the ICs as opposed to solder joints of legs around the IC). That can be difficult to find and more difficult to resolve.

What you can do is open the TV and look at your power board.

If in doubt you can send it to us for evaulation and service if necessary. Shouldn\'t go above $80 total, possibly less.

Hope this helps!

Looking for the price to a toshiba satellite serial number Z6285774k

This model is no longer in circulation and may not be available in most computer stores.

If you try to look around online most of the stores would no longer provide prices. But here are some information found:

amazon.com - (NEW) $499.99
ebay.com - (USED) $100-$150

The color contrast is off. The black color appears with a red tint, and the picture looks similar to a graphic comic. I have a Sanyo 32" flat screen.

The five times I ran into this problem on these model sets it was caused by bad main board three times and bad lcd display panel,(screen) one time, and bad solder connections at a connector on the main board the other time. You can try to search model number and board description for pricing. Chances are a repair shop will charge 100-400 u.s. dollars to fix this problem. Good luck with your new disposable flat screen.Russmann.

Toshiba 42WP56T TV made a crackle sound then lost picture. Sound works but no picture except small pixel like image on corner of screen What happened can I get replacement part?

More often than not, this is caused by faulty sustain boards. I would like you to take off the back cover and observe for faulty caps on the two boards labelled X-main and Y-Main. The electrolytic caps(will be cylindrical in shape and will have an X mark at the top)caps will be bulged, cracked or blown off if they are bad. If its ceramic caps you are bound to see some burn marks on the board near them. Look for any other signs of evident damage, and if you find any replace both of the sustain boards(should cost you around 150-200$) as these boards usually take out one another when they go bad.

Toshiba 36A42 TV. Dim Picture

Check the "screen" control on the flyback (lower knob) its easy to hit moving a board around. Try to adjust back to its original setting. Look for where the dust is, it should be on top. Or any marks might help. Other wise adjust slowly, back off if any retrace lines appear, with user settings at there normal settings.
