Black Screen Vhen I turn onmy PC I don't see nothing on display,,,Green light blinking, but nothing more,,,,,Vhen I disconect DVI cable from PC ,it's same, Green Light blinking , and I heer some sound on Speakers,,,Please help me if it's possible,,,, I'am sory about my English, but I think you will understand what I need

here is the simple test to detect hardware malfunction.
on every monitor these days whether its CRT or LCD already programmed inside self test.
detach your cable data to CPU and power on your monitor. if its displayed self test on your screen mean its OK and something wrong with your CPU, could be VGA error.

if its just black display mean some is wrong with your monitor.

sounds like a problem with the monitor itself--check all cables and connections---check with a known good monitor (you can use lcd tv)

You have may be broke the system cable, the dvi-d cable is broke...
In my pdp-5030hd have the same problem, probe changing the only the dvi cable and works perfect...
The monitor blinks 3 red and the 4 blinks still in red...
Now i will try to put in the dvi-d input another source like a pc...
You need always the Pdp03u box for control...

If you cant get into the setup menu then I would think the monitor is defective,you did not state if you hooked up the monitor to a computer that has a vga port that works.

The tv will show correctly in 720p mode. Cable box and PS3 must be set to display in 720p or the green tint will remain. For the PS3 I return it to 1080p when I am about to play a game, blu-rays and dvd's can only play in 720p.

It's seems you got a defective DVI card. Try using a VGA cable instead. Have nice day!

they normally turn off like this when they aren't receiving a video signal from the pc (same as when you turn off the pc). make sure that it is connected properly, and that the video output is activated. try disconnecting from the other monitor while its on and connect the problem monitor...if it still isn't working then there may be a problem with the cable or the monitor itself. Try another VGA or DVI cable. Hope this helps

The flashing green power button is a well known electronic problem with this (and other) Viewsonic LCD monitors. There is a YouTube video (do a search) showing how to disassemble the VX924 and find out whether the problem is related to blown capacitors. When I took my VX922 apart I discovered 6 bad capacitors out of a total of 7 on the power supply circuit board.Only recommended for those handy with a soldering iron.
