How 2 get the t stat to manual - Heating & Cooling

Depending on what type of thermostat you have about the only manual setting you will have are on/automatic switch for the fan or switch to go from heat to cool. If you want to do it the easiest way I know of is switch it from heat to cool or the other way around and then set temperature on the stat high or low enough that it won't come on till you switch it back.
