The Teka HL890 oven did not heat up and had the words (5h:0) appeared.

The error message "5h:0" on a Teka HL890 oven indicates that the oven is in demo mode. Demo mode is a setting that is used by retailers to show off the oven's features without actually cooking anything. To turn off demo mode, follow these steps: Press and hold the "+" and "-" buttons on the oven's control panel for 10 seconds. The error message will disappear and the oven will be in normal mode. If the oven still does not heat up after turning off demo mode, there may be a problem with the heating element or the temperature sensor. In this case, it is best to contact a qualified technician for assistance. Here are some other possible reasons why your Teka HL890 oven might not be heating up: The oven is not plugged in. Make sure that the oven is plugged into an outlet that is working properly. The oven door is not closed properly. Make sure that the oven door is closed all the way. The oven thermostat is set too low. Make sure that the oven thermostat is set to a high enough temperature. There is a problem with the heating element. The heating element may be broken or it may not be getting enough power. There is a problem with the temperature sensor. The temperature sensor may be broken or it may not be reading the temperature correctly.

F&p OB60SL11DEPX1 built in oven. Bought this as an off the floor demo. Just installed it. All the functions, clock etc work but elements not heating up. Troubleshooting says it might be in demo mode!!

It could also be a faulty circuit breaker. If one of them trips internally it may not trip the handle or indicate one is tripped. This situation allows only 120 volts to reach the oven instead of 220. That's why the clock functions but not the elements. To turn off Demo Mode:
1. Press SETTINGS 12 times. "Demo Mode" and "ON. Press (1) to OFF" will appear in the display text area.
2. Press the "1" keypad to change the Demonstration Mode setting to Off.
3. "OFF Selected" will scroll in the text area. Demo Mode has been turned Off.

Eecrolux combination wall oven / microwave is in demo mode model# ew30mc65jb

Good Morning Rolf, thanks for your post!

Based off the information you have provided your Electrolux wall oven/microwave combination is stuck in demo mode. The best way to remove demo mode from your wall oven/microwave combo is to hold the oven light button and the on/off keys at the same time and you should be able to toggle in and out of demo mode. Hopefully this is helpful. -Matt

MY OVEN WON'T HEAT

Hello - Does any part of the range work? I would recommend verifying that a fuse is not blown or a circuit breaker tripped. Test the power outlet with a lamp, hair dryer, etc. Another questions, does "Loc" appear in the display if any button is pushed? The Oven Lockout feature automatically locks the oven door, prevents the warmer drawer and most oven controls from being turned ON. If so, press and hold CLEAR/OFF for 3 seconds. A beep will sound. LOC will clear. The "DOOR LOCKED" will continue to flash until the oven door has completely unlocked. Does the clock display "Sd" or "dddd"? If so, the clock is in sales demo mode. Press and hold the "BAKE TIME" button for 6 seconds to exit sales demo mode. If this does not prove to be successful, contact a professional to have EOC diagnosed and/or to confirm that there isn't a wiring failur

NE5_ problem code. Power source checked, no heat on any of the elements

It is not NE5_ (even though it looks like it) but MES_ which means that the oven is in messe (exhibition) or demo mode and everything works except it will not switch on heating.

On my oven, a H383BR-KAT this mode is switched off (and on) by setting the program switch to 0 (off) and simultaneously holding the + and - buttons for a few seconds.

This information is not in the manual for that oven.
