Try this link and give it a go yourself - by the time you send off and then pay for postage it will be half a third or even half the price fo a new helmet - I would sell on ebay and buy a new helmet with the earnings. I tried this and really struggled due to the conection of the webbing straps - I eventaully sold the helmet and only paid £18 for a new one by selling it on ebay - decided to stick with the ecrin as the next grade up (pezle meteor) was just not right for me.

How do I remove the driver side front door panel to repair the power window?

The panel is held on with screws and clips. The screws are usually located in the armrest portion and possibly one around the door handle. Once the screws are removed you grab the door panel from the bottom and pull. The clips will release from the door. It is not uncommon for some of the clips to break or seperate from the door panel. Just reinstall the clips back into the panel and replace any that may break

Changing headlights

The headlights for the Galant are accessed from the engine compartment. First remove the electrical connection from the rear of the headlight, It will be very stubborn. As you pull on the connector try to hold the bulb in place as its only held in place with a spring clip. Once you have managed to remove the connector remove the rubber cover. There are a couple of rubber tabs to grab on to. This will give you access to the spring clip that is actually holding the bulb in place. Push the clip in and over to the side and the bulb will be free. Installation is the opposite of the removal. The bulb has three alignment tabs that allow the bulb to be installed only one way.

I recommend after getting the bulb in place and the rubber cover on putting a little bulb grease on the three male connectors on the bulb before you reconnect it to the female socket. It will make it much easier next time. Also remember to never touch the glass portion of the bulb. Any foreign material on the bulb will greatly shorten it's life.

Yes you do, The first clips you removed are the secondary clips. The lines have to be released from the inside. Heres the info.. Cobra :-)
  1. Open safety clip.

  1. Fit Tool T90T-9550-B (5/16 inch) or T90T-9550-C (3/8 inch) to coupling so that tool can enter female fitting.

  1. Push the tool into female fitting to release the retaining fingers from the formed male tube end.
  1. Pull male and female fittings apart.

  1. Remove the tool from the disconnected fitting.
  1. Inspect the fitting for any internal parts that may have been damaged. Fuel tube should be replaced if internal parts are damaged.

Hello Bill, i understand your problem, but i think what you will have to do mate is either go to Garmin's website and order a new one as i dont think they would sell the broken item seperately, or go to a local shop that sells Gps equipment and maybe they can help you.

Replacing the coupler so machine spins

Cabinet Removal

1. Remove the two small phillips screws on the front-lower portion of the control panel or in the rear corners.

2. Flip the whole control panel from the bottom, towards the back , so it is resting against the machine.

3. Remove the plastic tube at the water level sensor on the control panel.

4. Now go ahead and disconnect the spin switch wires from the panel.

5. Take off the big clips, one on each side, with a big screw driver at the top of the cabinet.

6. Slide the whole cabinet forward, by grabbing each side and pulling with your hands. I see you have the whole cabinet put to the side already.
