Picture on screen wont stay on

I thnk you should try turning on tv then unplug tv to reset it worked for me

Could be noumerous things: 1. check power supply, too high or too low voultage may cause TV to shut down. measure it to detarmine if power supply is faulty. 2. check convergence board. If either of these 2 fuses on the convergence panel are open then replace the STK output devices PLUS check for any resistors in that circuit that may have overheated and changed value. Use actual fuse values, putting in a larger fuse, even to try and diagnose problem, will cause more severe damage. 3. Check for bad solder connects on the PC board in the area of the power cord and related components.
