The fan works but no heat. Grill work

You need a new oven element. The oven element is not visible inside the oven as it is located around the fan, behind a safety panel. Its a simple DIY job if you are handy. Isolate oven from power. Look inside oven to rear panel where fan is located and there should be 4 screws holding the safety panel in place to cover the fan, Remove cover and you should be able to see the element which will probably be circular and mounted around the fan. Remove the element and take with you to ensure a correct replacement at your parts dealer.

Where are the fuses located in a frigidare stove

Good Afternoon Friend, this is Z. Thank you for your post!

I understand you are seeking the fuses location in your Frigidaire range. May I please have your model number? You can typically locate the serial tag (which lists your model number) in the storage drawer, on the right side. Please describe what your appliance is doing so that I can assist you better in pinpointing the problem before you take this step. Thanks!

Thermostat broken

Good Morning a_t_pearson, this is Z. Thank you for your post! I understand that the thermostat is broken on your top Frigidaire oven; therefore I'm assuming that you have a double-wall oven. If so, please help me understand what you are referring to by thermostat? Is your oven not preheating or reaching desire temperature? Are you speaking about the bake and/or broil elements not heating? May I please have your model number? The serial tag, which lists your model number, is typically located on the front of the oven, on the left side, as you open the door. With this information I can better address the issue at hand. Thank you!

Whirlpool Gold Electric convection oven does not heat up.

Check for a broken wire or even broken element on top and bottom of unit. To do this, the unit must be unplugged or otherwise removed from power completely, then remove the screws that hold each heating element in place and gently pull out and inspect the wire connections. You should have just enough slack to check them. There should also be just enough slack to strip the wire clean to make the new connection to the heating element.

If the repair has been done before, you may need to fish a new lingth of high temp wire into the location.

How do i replace bottom element in blanco oven model bso632

Hi Ron.

Unfortunately I do not have the schematics for this specific model. The fan assisted oven has a top grill element and an element in the fan housing. The fan housing is located inside the oven cavity at the back and protected by a cover held by 4 screws. Here a video showing how to replace the fan assisted element. If there is also a lower element at the bottom of the cavity, this can be reached removing the panel at the bottom of the oven. Here a video showing replacement of the bottom element.

ISOLATE THE MAINS POWER BEFORE OPENING ANY PANEL ON YOUR APPLIANCE
There are sometimes up to three heating elements in simular types of ovens.
A Visual inspection is required to accertain which is the element not working, remove rear panel, there is odd types that have the element to the side of the fan assisted oven, have a good look when panels removed. The blow element usually has a blow out hole with Black Gray at the point it will feel rough not smooth like the rest of the element case, the second way is a bulge on the surface skin, it should be easy to identify. Part could be obtained through www.whitegoods.co.uk you will need the model and serial numbers. Some models you have to remove the fan or fans if twin, some models have top fan usually no element in the top except grill.
Hope this has been helpful please send me info if more tech is required.

ISOLATE THE MAINS BEFORE OPENING ANY PANEL
Remove the rear panel, there is a component with two terminals screwed to the chassis, read whats on it, take a note of the letters and numbers, get a replacement, from a local electrical store, or www.whitegoods.co.uk you will need the model and serial number, this component stops the cooker from over heating, the elements have to be controlled, the second cause is fan running too slow, if the fan does not cause enogh pressure the element will over heat.
Hope this has been helpful

Replacement of fan oven element on Nef U1721

Hi Steve...yes, these are a pain! Remove the centre fan nut (which is anti-threaded) then lever off the small locating washer underneath. If you are lucky, you will be able to now pull the fan blade off of the motor shaft. However, very often they won't budge!. If you try to knock it off, it is so easy to damage the fan motor (about £80!!). It is possible to leave the top bracket screwed to the oven and unclamp the element from it. I have come across three different typed of clamps so far. One is very easy to do. You can then remove the clamp from the new element and once the element is in place, use the old clamp. It's a fiddle but quite do-able. I have also come across these where the top clamp has been previously removed altogether by engineers on previous repairs! Hope this all helps a little....
