Just put together my son's little tikes coupe. The front wheels are much looser than the yare in the back. I realize that the front wheel swivel of course but does not appear like this is part of the design. Front wheels are so loose that the hubcaps vibrate when the car is in motion. Makes a loud rattle sound. Do I have a problem here or is this part of the design?

Try replacing the screw. If you cant, get a long thin bolt and nut to replace it.

To be honest this is the part that wares out on these swivel chairs. To attempt a fix would be to break the chair to where it could not even be sat in. I did do some checking around and found some reasonably priced replacements.

This one is the cheapest I could find. It says available for pick-up only but if you contacted them I bet you could work out a shipping fee. For $8.99usd it is surely worth a try. http://enkorekids.shoprw.com/product.php?productid=20773

Unlikely, because the caps tend to self district instead of coming off. Replacement acorn caps should be less than a dollar at a hardware store or a lawnmower repair shop.

Not a solution but I wondered if you ever sorted this? I have same problem with one front wheel only... Just seems too snug a fit to the main body...? Any suggestions?

Does the steering wheel control the wheels? Are the front wheels supposed swivel or stay in one direction?

theres no problem no the wheels arnt turned with steering wheel and the front wheels are supposed to swivel hope this helps if yes please giv thumbs up thanks
