Bluetooth My bluetooth stoped working after upgrading the drivers. I'm using bluetooth IV drivers, and I can find my device at the device manager screen, and it is working currectly. But, inside my bluetooth manager (a blue icon next to the clock), I see an error telling me that my device is not found.

How do I remove Bluetooth Drivers?

When a new Bluetooth device with your computer, you generally need a driver for the work to install. Once you stop using a Bluetooth device, you may need to uninstall it before it is used by other Bluetooth devices that you still use. Bluetooth drivers and other drivers are removed from the Device Manager that is built into all versions of Windows.

1. Click Start> Run. When the Run text box, type "devmgmt.msc" and click "OK" to open the Device Manager.

2. Scroll through the menu of categories device in Device Manager and find "Bluetooth devices." Expand this category by clicking the "+" sign next to it.

3. Scroll through the list of devices in this category and identify those that you do not plan more. Right-click and choose the first "Uninstall" option in the pop-up. When Windows asks you to confirm the deletion, click "Yes".

4. Repeat step 3 for all other devices with Bluetooth driver you want to delete. When finished, close the Device Manager.
I upgrade my acer laptop from vista to windows 7 and i can't find my Bluetooth device. How can i have a Bluetooth device? Please help me.

Hi,

Please right click on My Computer - Properties - Device Manager & check your device status there. I can sure your bluetooth is not functioning cause by no driver installed for your device.

Please go to www.acer.co.uk and download bluetooth driver for your laptop & install it. Make sure you turn on your bluetooth switch first.

Thanks for visiting FixYa. We answer your question for FREE. Please feel free to click on "YES" button in return. Have a good time...!

Wireless connection no longer works after vista upgrade

HP uses "branded" wireless modules, which means it's got to be HP or it doesn't get to play.
Does device manager see the wireless device? I've had similar situations with the 8000s. Always the driver or the wireless utility was the problem. Try letting windows manage the device, or if you already are, disable that and use the devices utiliy to manage it.
BTW, most systems consider BT as wireless.
Good luck, hope that helps
