Hi temp bit running

Hello Liz Hotelling - From what you have describes it sounds like the damper door might be open causing the temperature to be too cold. Use a mirror to look at damper door at the rear of compartment and use a hair dryer on damper door to deice for 5 to 10 minutes. Allow 24 hours and if the temperature is still too cold, then I would have a professional look at the damper door for replacement.

Temperature in fridge is 32 degrees

If the model number above your post is correct the your model has a 67003411 Auto Damper9_26_2012_4_50_40_pm.jpgand if the damper door is all the way open causing the fresh food compartment to be flooded with freezing cold air from the freezer side. It is not uncommon for thes dampers to fail due to a leak in the thermostat on the side of coiled up on the damper. Look at damper t confirm there is no frost keeping the damper door open and if you like I will post how to examine by taking the damper out and placing the damper thermostat coil and dipping it into a glass of ice and a little water. The damper door should shut if dipped into ice water. If not the damper will need to be replaced in order for fresh food section temperatures to be regulated. I will be here should you have questions, Thanks Sea Breeze

My LG refrigerator is luke warm but my freezer is working properly. The set temperature is the suggested 4 level. 3 days ago, I had noticed that I had not closed the refrigerator doors properly for 12...

hello, first thing to check would be to assure that the evaporator fan motor located behind the rear inside wall of the freezer is blowing air. Following you assureing that the fan is working you would then go into the refrigerator and there is a small door called a damper door or in some units a diffuser door you would also assure that this door is not full of ice and is able to open and close. The cold air from the freezer comes through this damper door. If there is any ice build up on the door you may have to replace the damper door. I have found that trying to remove the ice that the door just never works properly after trying to defrost the door and is alot less troublesome to just replace the door if it was iced over or wasnt functioning properly. If you have any questions message me back I will await your reply and your finds in these two areas that I have mentioned. And if the fan is working and there is no ice on the damper door and it is opening and closeing I will continue pointing out other areas that may be the cause of the refrigerator not getting cold. Thank you

The problem is damper assembly. In the damper assembly there is a door. This door opens and close with the help of motor. The damper is located between freezer and fridge section. The cold air from freezer section enters to fridge section via this damper door.---------- What repairmen did was proper, but may be that door is not properly got open, it got closed again.Or there is ice got collected between the freezer and freezer section, so this is not letting the cool air to pass from freezer to fridge.----------- ---------- This damper assembly needs to be replaced.Actually this door functions correctly with motor. He open the damper door manually and thought, the cool air will enter the fridge section non stop, but that door is again got closed, by some how.--------- You will have to get the damper assembly part replaced, to get the air flow work properly.------- As the repair man has already ordered the part, otherwise you can get this parts from online sites like www.repairclinic.com or from sears parts direct site.-------- Getting the damper door assembly, replaced will help.Thanks.Helpmech.

No, the door is foamed together.
Remove small drip catch at bottom of dispenser area. Use silicone to seal recess along front edge and the two front corners. That should prevent water from getting under the door trim.
