Powers on shows picure for seconds then gos off sound still on .turn off then on flashs picture for second then no picture can you help
I'll go through the basics that you can try yourself. It might be a problem with the backlighting, which usualy is very cheap to fix - take a flash light, dim the lights in the room and flash the light into the screen to see if theres any picture visible. If so then you're looking at a backlight or backlight inverter failure, like I said, cheap. second(or first) thing to try is changing the cables you have the TV connected with, they might not be seated well, or have some other problem. For a tutorial on changing the inverter click here: http://www.lcdpart.com/doc/inverter_installation.html BUT - have a warranty? don't touch it and take it back to the shop. Good luck

this is due to leakages in your internal circuit... this generally happens due to aging... the part which has suffered damage has to be found and replaced... but this part can be identified only physically testing the voltages and currents on the internal circuit...

SOURCE: Samsung 50" plasma won't turn on
My 42" plasma is making a clicking sound, then it switches off and keeps clicking but not switching back on, when it does go back on it stays on for just a few moments, it is only 14months old.

SOURCE: 32" Samsung TV, No Power or Sound, power LED on, flashes 3 times
Most likely the set has lost vertical sweep or the feedback from that circuit. This will shut the set down to prevent a horizontal line from burning the face of the CRT. This will have to be looked at by a technician.

I have a Samsung LE52M87BD, and regularly the screen goes dark, a few seconds after turning the TV on. I noticed that the backlight is off. Sound etc is still working. Also a buzzing noise is heard at the back of the TV, before the backlight is automatically switched off. This problem always occurs when the TV is turned on the frist time of the day. I then can turn it off and on as often as I can, but only the next day it will function normal again. It first happened once in a few months, now it happens once in a few weeks.
