1.Connect the iPad to the computer and launch iTunes.
2.Click on the iPad name on the left side under devices.
3.Click on the Photos Tab on the right.
4.Uncheck all of the albums or folders that you want to remove from the iPad under the Sync Photos from heading.
5.If you want to remove all of the photos - uncheck the Sync Photos From heading
6.Click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes

As long as the photo has been taken on the ipad and is on the camera roll, select the picture you want to delete and at the bottom right hand side of the ipad screen there will be a trash can icon. Click on the trash can and you will be asked as to whether you want to delete the picture or cancel, choose delete.

Failing that if the picture is in the photo library when you connect the ipod to your computer open itunes and click on your ipod under devices and then on the photos tab at the top of the window and change the pictures you want to synch with your ipod.

2. Delete the photos you no longer want to sync with your device or move them out of the folder to somewhere else on your computer.
3. Connect your iPad to your computer and then open iTunes.

5. Click "Sync" in the lower right corner of the program window to sync your iPad with your iTunes account. After the sync is complete, the photos you removed from the folder you're syncing with your iPad are gone from the iPad.
