If the fan is working o/k then the oven element is probably faulty, this should be at the rear of the oven behind a removeabkle cover.
Make sure you have the control set to grill , for grilling
are the fire red , orange or blue?

check the air control at the back of the burner control, it should be open all the way.
it it is, then try another themostate.
Are you pressing and holding the button and does the system still power on and off alright? If the system still works properly then it isnt a huge concern. If it wont power on or off then do an exchange at Wal-Mart.
