My remote won't do anything. The red light comes on but nothing happens to the tv. I changed the batteries and everything. This happened before and a friend fixed it but I don't know how he did it.

Thirst thing to try is take the batterys out of the remote and push all of the buttons to get any electric static for say 3 to 5 minutes if that don't work try to see if your remote signal works by using your iphone and take a few photos of the remote beam when pressing ,or the remote in the tv might have gone. Ps happened to me

This is an error code of some fault inside. Kindly call in a qualified service technician.

unplug, remove back and check to see if any bulging capacitor caps, if so, replace them....worked for me on Vizio

which television are you using? If there is a button on a remote named "INPUT" then press the INPUT button and select AVC. I hope it will fix the problem

First of all change your battery and try again if nothing happens don't do anything just go to service centre with a photocopy of purchasing bill.

if you have no lights at all i would check the power supply.

Have about a 30 second window to replace batteries before all codes are lost and when you put in the new batteries it goes into programing mode. Re-enter codes and try it again. Have the same remote and it has happened to me before.

same thing,tv won,t come on,unplug the tv, nothing at all,just yesterday my tv was fine, this is the first time this has ever happen
