We've printed probably 3k-4k sheets of pape (duplex), suddenly the top right corner is getting a little notch in it and it gets progressively worse (duplex side only) until it gets to a full-on jam - accordion folded paper, etc. Could it be the fuser?

When the printer start to print from cold (haven't been used) the paper won't load. After manualy push in the 1st page, it starts printing the rest of pages fine.

Is it possible that on the first occasion this happened some paper was left stuck in the printer when you were pulling it out? Open the printer and take out any paper leftovers and try again. When pulling out a jammed paper sheet, try pulling from more then one point, applying an even spread of pull force, without jerking it out at once, will give you a better chance of pulling it out whole. Leaving pieces of paper inside is very likely to cause problems. Hope this helps

After you check it for forien objects and know that it is clear. Get a warm wet cotton rag with mild detergent on it and wash over the rollers and the entire printer. Be careful not to damage it thru ruff handling. Don't get water on the electrical parts just the moving parts. Don't use exccessive water squeeze out excess. Be sure and unplug it from the power first. Unplug it from the computer too. Make sure it is dry before you start it back up. You can use a dry cloth to dry it also. After two years of printing I am sure it needs some cleaning.

The usual cause for paper jams is the rollers need to be cleaned or replaced. just cleaning the rollers is not enough they need to be rejuvenated as well. I don't suggest isopropyl alcohol as it dries out the rubber. I believe it is called rollit. I Hope this helps
