I have a Bushnell Sport 600 rangefinder i use for golf and it just stopped working the other day. I put a new battery in but that did not help. How do I repair it or where can I send it or take it to get it fixed? It is only a year old or so.

I lost my battery cover and called Bushnell direct. They sent me new one for free. At Golf Store they ordered on and charged me $15. I took the free one

The Bushnell Tour V2 is notorious for suddenly stopping operating. Normally, if I slap the sides it starts working again. This has happened many times. However, two days ago it quit working again and I have slapped the heck out of it and it still doesn't work. I have checked the batteries and they are great. Try slapping. If someone out there knows something else that will help me, please let me know. Slapping no longer helps in my case.

E6 means the unit has cpu or program failure....The only thing that bushnell can do is replace your unit with a newer one Its over 10 years old..... They won't have any parts or able to reprogram it.(they just do keep parts that long) They will offer you a model 20-1916 ($151.00 bill) (you can it see it @ bushnell .com.) The better model is........if you play golf is the Medelist(20-1354) or the Tour V2(20-1930).....The top of the line is the Pinseeker 1600(20-5105 without the slope function) or the Pinseeker 1600(20-5106 with the slope function).......If you hunt I would go with the model (20-1932 with the ARC fuction..... This is the real deal....call them

The CPU board has failed. Bushnell will not have parts to repair it. They will offer you one at a discount. Call them at (800) 423-3537

For the model you have (20-1916) I would use the flag. Larger target and soon to be reflective. When on the green I would aim at the hole. Let me know if this helps

Take the nice cover and neck strap off rangefinder to use on another item. Next use the rangefinder for hammer. boat anchor, etc. Seriously though the problem occurs often in the Bushnell rangefinders and it cost more to fix than to replace with a better brand. A $179.00 original cost rangefinder cost $10.00 to ship back to Bushnell and another $235.00 for repair of a non specified problem for a grand total of $245.00. I consider this a rip off from Bushnell.
