Problem is almost definatly power suppy related. get out your DMM and measure the voltages in the power supply. too much current to the unit may cause the exact problem you described. Carefully check all the caps in the power supply and horiz output stage for high ESR. You will need an ESR meter, or a low impedance reactance meter to check these. If not, you will have to replace the caps one by one to find the fault, if it is a bad cap.

which Dish Network system do u have. If it is the Hopper they program a little easier that the others. but if you have anything other than the hopper u do this. #1 turn onTV,#1 take Dish Remote,#3 press and hold down the TV button on top of the remote, hold it till all four lights light up.#4 press the small red TV button,# now press and click the channel Up or Down , do this one click at a time , (do not just press and hold ) this may take 200 clicks so don't give up. #5 when the TV goes off u quickly press the #(pound button) located on the bottom right of the remote. the TV button on top should flash 3 times. Now try to turn the TV back on.Ok now if you are clicking the channel button too fast and the TV turns off and u pass it up no sweat,,just hit the # button anyway.. and start from the beginning again, but this time use the OTHER channel button the TV should turn off within a couple of clicks. (that saves you from having to hit the button another 100 tries.. ha good luck

I have an LG plasma tv model # 42pg20-ua. Everytime I try to turn it on the tv keeps clicking turning from blue to red. Tv never actually turns on. I keep trying to turn it on, but it just clicks and...

that is usually a t-con board or video card. ebayers usually have those parts reasonable.

that's how I fixed one of mine.

it could be the power board which is the costlier part.

My 08impala makes knocking or a clicking sound after I remote start it and then turn key. What is the knocking or clicking sound it sounds like its coming form them where radio is at. Is that my starter...

I have heard this click. It's electrical interference. When you remote start it doesn't turn everything on like the key would. It really shouldn't do this, but it doesn;t seem to hurt anything. If you had the remote installed recently ask the company about it.

Tv will not turn on

I can only suggest one solution not a fix but will work without much cost. Try a wireless outlet switch... the switch I have uses a wireless frequency much like a remote control only an on/off switch... I placed the switch on my wall and plugged in the receiver into a wall outlet, then plugged in my table lamp to the receiver. Now I just walk to the wall switch and click it and on goes the lamp without me having to physically reach under the lamp to turn it on... wish I was more help but for about 25.00 dollars (think it was 14.00 at lowes) its a working solution...

TV turns off by itself

Thus the line connected to a surge protector or some kind of line protector. This can be consider.

Or if this is a crt type tv. This could be a fault on high voltage section. Horizontal output transistor or flyback. But check also for loose connection/solder crack. That clicking sound may be the relay in action.

hope i give some correct input.

Everytime I turn on the tv is won't turn on. so I just keep on clicking. After clicking so many times it finally turn on. afraid to turn it off and might won't turn on again. what seem the problems?

Try changing the batteries in your remote, for starters. It seems to be a simple matter of a defective switch.
minor service routine if it's happening when you turn on the set at the console.
