My g1 got a virus from an app i downloaded now it wont turn on

well obviously the market app wont work until you have an active wireless connection. But it also sounds like the market app is corrupted. Connect your g1 to a wireless network with internet access and then go into settings and tell it to search for updates. That might fix it

When downloading from the next make sure you scan for VIRUS first before download.VIRUS has affected the phones memory it needs to be flashed.

that barcode scan app is not as good as you think. it works when it wants. for the most part. stay in a well lit area and make sure your camera is right and focus is accurate.

I have the same problem with my Rogers HTC Dream. It's been less than 30 days that I bought it so I will try exchanging it with another brand new unit to see if my unit is defective.

i know how it sucks when you purchase a new mobile and you face something like this. But i have an answer for you. i had the same problem last week and i have found a solution from one of my friends. this problem happens when you open many programs at the same time and the programs are stiull running under. To solve the problem go ahead and turn off your G1 mobile for about 30 seconds. it will start working when you turn on your G1. turning off your G1 will close all the programs running under...good luck

No, as of yet flash is not supported on the G1. Keep your eye open for 3rd party apps though, new ones become available daily.

You need a t-mobile data plan for the G1 to connect to the internet. Make sure you have one of those first.

The APN (Access Point Name) for the G1 is epc.tmobile.com

download the free app ringdroid in the app market.connect g1 to computer and mount .drag music into music folder.then open rigdroid.the music you dragged into folder should be here.cut the waveform however you want then save. now you can go to settings and under sound and display you can assign your newly made ring tone to your default tone.

try downloading the application 'save mms' from the marketplace. after the app is installed, open it up and it will show all the pictures in all the picture messages you received. click on it and it gives you the ability to save it. true life savor ;) enjoy
