How to return the music player and calculator?

this is not a dedicated mp3 player follow instructions carefully to olay music if you can return and buy mp3 player unless you need to record voice.

MP3 players can only play music files in mp3 file format. You need to convert your CDs to mp3 music files onto yourcomputer or download them from the Internet and then copy them to your MP3player.
You can do this using Windows Media player and Rip the CDs - Media Player willcreate a MP3 music file for each music track.

u can reinstall software via nokia software updater using internet,,,, hope ur problem will be gone,,,,

depends which mp3 player it is. If its an apple mp3 player you need to install itunes. Other MP3 players either come with software applications or will be compatible with most media players such as winamp or windows media player.

To slove this problem please open the music player and music player and select the option update library. Your library will be updated and all the songs in the storage card will come in the list and you can easily play them...

Once you have the video files formatted to .AMV

1. plug your MP3 player into the computer
2. Go to MY COMPUTER.
3. Find your .AMV VIDEO
4. Drag file to the Scroll Bar on the left, hold the file over the GPX DEVICE
5. Two folders will appear under it. Put file into ALBUMS

To then access videos put onto the device. Hold the MODE BUTTON on your MP3 player until you are returned to your menu screen. Scroll to MOVIES and your videos will be there. :D To return to listening to music or looking at Pictures, hold the MODE BUTTON and simply select your desired destination.

This player requires Windows Media Player 11 to transfer music files.

I am having the same problem. I already formatted it and it wont transfer music from comp to mp3. it says that the device is disconnected, which it isnt, or that the device has stopped.

I had the same problem after spending 45 minutes with tech help ( very patient and helpful) and 2 reformats of my player they suggested I return the product which I did. My MP3 files played without problem but my wma gave me nothing but problems. It is not worth the effort to fight this player, great concept overall, I really regret having to return it, but synchronizing you music should not be a problem.
