Ok, it stopped working as a player, still functional as a jumpdrive. I see that reinstalling the software and formatting it seems to work. Problem is is that I can't find the software anymore, anyone know where to get it?

The FORMAT ERROR message may occur if the Walkman player has been formatted using the format utility in Windows Explorer. To correct this issue, initialize (format) the portable player using the Initialize or Format utility built into your Walkman player. Home button-->Menu-->Advanced Menu-->Initialize-->Format-->OK.
Reset the unit by pressing the RESET button with a small object such as a paper clip. Reset button is located near the volume buttons.
I just got a sansa c250 mp3 player. I loaded mp3 music onto it and it played but I couldn't control it. The buttons wouldn't respond. It would always just start from the first track but I couldn't stop it without turning it off. So I tried to format and reinstall the music but I lost the basic files/software initially on it, Can I get the software anywhere. Do I have a bad unit? The buttons don't seem to work. Thanks!
