Turn off your camera.
Press down "Menu" and "Disp" simultaneously and hold down, then press the power button until the camera turns on.
The display will now display some tech gibberish.
Quickly press the ring joystick right 2 times, then press "Menu" again.
You should now be in the engineering menu of the camera. Please do not change settings in here.
Now the camera can be connected to the PC via USB.
Place the file from the start on the camera.
Disconnect your camera and turn it off.
Hold the "Menu" button down and turn the camera on.
You should see "PROGRAM UPDATE" on the display.
Select "Yes" and wait for 30-60 seconds, while the camera starts flashing.
Your camera should now be fully functional again.
