Hello

Format the SD card using your digital camera then try it again.

Note: All the files in the SD card will be deleted when you format it.

My mother in law has a cool pix L120. How does she transfer photos from the cameras internal memory to a SIM card?

The only time the camera puts images on INTERNAL memory is when you do not have a SD card in the camera.

When I have an SD in my Coolpix camera and I want to get the images on my computer I take OUT the SD card and put it in the slot in my computer.

The only way to access images ON the camera's internal memory is to have the Computer access the camera via USB. You should be able to see the camera when you plug it in via USB you can copy images from the camera.

You can copy all of the images on the camera to a folder on your computer.

If you can read the SD card on the computer you can copy the images from your computer (folder you made) to the PROPER FOLDER on the SD card. The proper folder is a XXXNIKON Named folder. (I am assuming you took at least one IMAGE with the SD card in the camera.

I need to put my pictures off my SD card on my Lumia 635 windows 8 phone back on the phone so I can put the on a different SD card

1. You can connect your SD card to your PC and copy the images. Eject and insert the other SD card. Then Transfer those images to your other SD card.

2. You can sync your images of your SD card to onedrive. Then insert your other SD card, and in the next step transfer your images from onedrive to your other SD card.

My images are on the camera's memory and not on the SD card. I want to upload them to my iPad with my card reader. How can I transfer them from the camera's memory to the card?

You can use the Copy command in the Playback menu to copy your images from the internal memory to the SD card. Full details are in the "Copying Files" section of the manual (page 95 in my copy). If you need a manual, you may download a copy here.

Moving from internal memory to sd card

According to the manual, you just have to put the camera into Playback mode, press Menu, then select Playback2 using the cursor movement buttons. On that menu is an option to Copy to Card, which copies all images from internal memory to SD card. I have not actually tried this myself, but I'm sure it will work.

Best of luck

SD card and camera

Hi nomi_101,

The option that you're lookig for is usually found in the camera's menu. As I remember for Samsung digital camera this option is under "Setup Menu 4" and under that there is the option for "Copy to Card" just highlight that option in your camera select it and select "Yes".

Basically, ALL images, and movie clips and voice recording files (if any) saved in the internal memory are copied to the SD memory card after the "Processing!" message is displayed. Note that when you move images that are stored in the internal memory to the memory card, the next number of file names will created in the card to avoid duplication of the file name. So it won't copy over any picture with the same name/number in your memory card.

Try this out first. Otherwise if you don't see this option I think it's best to check your camera's user manual for the correct procedure, since most camera's have different menu layout and option names. If you don't have the manual you can donwload a copy at http://www.samsungcamera.com/customer/download/cus_down_main.asp just pick the correct camera manual.

Hope this helps!

Peace! :)
