Want to connet s-vedio from laptope to tv - Acer Extensa 4620 Notebook

You will need standard HDMI only if your laptop have HDMI port. I think hp 6510b not include HDMI port. It has VGA and SVEDIO Output. Your toshiba TV have many PC INPUT Ports such as
S-Vedio, D-sub , VGA like old Desktop PC connection with Projector). So buy VGA cable or S-vedio Cable, then you can connect.

Go into your Control Panel and check the settings for Sound. You should be able to select the Playback location, either HDMI or TV.

You should have an S video link, or use VGA (PC) input via appropriate cables.

hoping that your tv id hd. all you will need is a HDMI conneting cable, to connect the laptop to your tv. change the source of your tv and change the display properties on your laptop and enjoy....

Check the video settings of your tv. Take the necessary setup,you must be running the laptop through the pc mode of your tv.

you can purchase a usb device with TV outputs. look on ebay or purchase one from your local PC retail shop.

If the computer does not easily and automatically show the computer screen on the tv through the S-video output, make sure the tv is switched to S-Video and Hold down the Fn + F5 keys to toggle through the video output manually on the laptop. Just make sure that only one video source is connected at a time. Your laptop will not support two output sources at the same time. TRY ADJUST LAPTOP VEDIO TO 60 HZ AND 800 X 600

If it has a Tv tuner card then it must capture. But u must know first if ur compaq model has a tv tuner card with input pins.
