I may be imagining things, but I see curly brackets. That notation is reserverd for lists. Remove the brackets and you will see the graph.

I cant figure out how to do log base formula

To calculate the log base b of x, divide the log of x by the log of b. You can use either the common log (log) or natural log (ln) as long as you use the same one for both.

For example, to calculate the log base 5 of 10, divide
log 10 by log 5
ln 10 by ln 5 .
Either way you should get about 1.43 .

Syntax error for graphs

That hardly seems possible. Try graphing the function y=x.
There are a few ways to draw curves on this calculator
  1. Drawing functions
  • Type is y=f(X), the [X,theta, T] key enters X when pressed

  • Type POLAR r=f(theta), key [X,theta, T] enters theta w. pressed.

  • Type PARAMETRIC, requires an X=f(T) and Y=g(T) functions
  • Inequality graphing. You can also draw some functional inequalities such as y> 2X^2-3
  • Dynamic graphing (graphs where some parameter may be changing)
Drawing Relations
There are some other relation you can draw X=, X>, X< , and the drawing of general conics.

I hope that the foregoing remarks help you sort out the problem you are having. If they fail to do that, I suggest that you read the manual that shipped with your Prizm.

How do i use the fx-300es to graph

Sorry but you cannot do that. This is not a graphing calculator. However you can generate a table of values for your function (MODE TABLE) and use it to graph the curve by hand (pencil and paper).

If you need a Casio graphing calculator, one of the cheaper ones is the Casio FX-9750GII. Equivalent Texas Instruments calculators are the TI83PLUS/TI84PLUS.

How do i sketch a graph using a polar equation? i.e. r=a(1+cos "theta") this is for a casio 7400g plus btw

Apparently you cannot. Here are all the possible graph types available and there is no polar graph among them.
