Re: fax transfrring problem
In case of double page-feeding, turn of the unit, open it, and release the page. open the back entrance of the printer, clean all feeding wheels with a dry rag. make sure there's nothing stuck between those wheels. make sure feeding tray is well located.

No the IMEI is not on the new tray.
You can change the back of the phone or it's "outer body" except changing the sim tray is very very easy.
Changing the back/ outerbody of the phone is the most labor intensive part: It includes removing EVERY piece of the phone including all tiny buttons and clear lenses and even a few pieces attached with adhesive. Then placing each one of those pieces into the new iphone case, glue the pieces in and reassemble.
Changing sim tray takes like 1 minute,
Changing back of the iphone 3g takes 3+ hours of very careful tinkering.
sounds like the seperation roller in the paper tray is worn .. this roller is there to stop multiple feeds or it may have a pad in your tray open the paper tray up and look at the roller in the tray or the pad ; and give it a clean with a damp cloth.. also check the paper if it has been in the tray over the weekend when not used sometimes they pick up cold or dampness and so the paper sticks to the top sheet.. Im thinking more on the lines of the sepertion roller/pad area.. Goood luck A
to set the priority tray for fax reception you have to change software sw in administrator mode:
1 touch the utility/counter button
2 press administrator mode button on the touchscreen
3 enter the passwrod 12345678
4 press the admin. 2 button
5 touch software sw
6 touch mode selection then use the keypad to type 037
7 touch the bit selection button use the arrow keys to select the bit you want to change setting the bit to a 1 enables the tray and 0 disables the trayrefer to the chart below to pick a tray to print faxes from you cannot set all the bits to 0 at least one of them have to set to 1.
bit 7=1 for the 1rst tray
bit 6=1 for the 2nd tray
bit 5=1 for the 3rd tray
bit 4=1 for the 4th tray
bit 2=0 for the bypass
so lets just say you want to put yellow paper in tray 1 to have all the faxes print on yellow paper. you would set bit 7 to a 1 and set bits 6,5,4,2,all to 0
push"special function" button, then select "key op prg", then "ok", then enter pin (default is 00000), then select "fax", then "ok", then select "rcv function", then "ok", then "tray selection", then "ok". The rest you should be able to follow your nose.
By cleaning the feed rollers you the fax will feed beter.Remove the dockfeeder and the paper tray.you will find the feed rollers in the bottom of the paper tray.Take a cloth and a stong soap selution and clean the 2 feed rubbers.
When you load the document feeder, simply place all of the sheets, up to I believe 25 sheets at a time in the document feeder. The doc feeder, if working correctly will load them one at a time and then exit them to the receiving shelf or tray on your printer.
If you do not have a document feeder, or must use the manual scan function for some reason, there is also a FAX multiple pages function from the sub menu.
