My Swiss Legend ceramic karamica watch for women is fantastic, but the pressure closure is broken. It looks like there is a small metal piece missing that creates the pressure on the closure. The metal piece that flexes can now be taken out when before, this was not possible. Is this an easy fix done at any jewellery store or do I have to purchase a new watch band? How much would a fix like this cost??

SOURCE: I need to have the bracelet of a Swiss legend

There is a store called Fast Fix jewelry and watch repair. I believe they have locations in california. They are usually in the mall. They can size watch bands. A good quality jewelry shop might be able to. And you might just look in the phonebook for a watch repair shop in your area.

SOURCE: How do I adjust (remove links) from a woman's

To be on the safe side, I would go to a jeweler. They may show you how to do it. Otherwise, it should not break the bank to make sure it is done well.

I hope this helps.

I have a Swiss Legend Karamica Diamond watch. It has suddenly stopped working. Have now had the battery replaced twice. It works perfectly for three or four days and then stops. Any ideas?

Hi Leigh.
The battery supplies voltage to a precise timing circuit to generate brief pulses of low voltage electricity to a magnetic coil which swings a weighted cam (wheel) to keep everything in motion.
This cam or some other mechanical part may have become dislodged or misaligned, causing drag.
In a nutshell, a watchmaker will need to inspect it for wear.
Could be a jewel-bearing has fallen out.
Does this help?
Regards,
Clive.

I have a swiss legend keramica and i cant ajust the bracelet

Most bracelet adjustments require a special tool that is only found in a jewelry store, or your watch can be shortened by the manufacturer. Many watches have pins that push out if you look on the back of the band there should be arrows the pins push in that direction if you have something small enough to fit it the hole, be very careful to put the pin back in the same way. Occasionally some watch bands are not pins they are screws and it can be very difficult to tell the difference between the two. If the watch band has a screw it requires a very small screwdriver and you must be careful NOT to strip the screwhead! You can also shorten some watches by just moving the pin in the band buckle if you have a small tool you should be able to do this yourself, BUT wear glasses because pins will spring out, keep pointed away from your face. Hope this helps!

I cannot find an authorized Swiss Legend Repair Center or Retailer in the Pittsburgh, PA area. I need the band sized and no stores that I've been to have had the tool required to take the links out....

Thank you for contacting FixYa.
What kind of stores were you taking too?? If you were going to places like Sears, Walmart etc I can see this, And most retail jewelers.
Honestly, I would look under yellow pages for a watch repair store. They should have most watch tools. I googled and found plenty in your area.
If still no luck then send to Swiss Legend at:
