Question about HP PSC 1110 All-In-One Thermal Printer
Recently when I try to print I get this message (and it goes on to say- ?the black print cartridge is the wrong kind for this device?). The black cartridge I installed is an original HP cartridge and I have printed more that 100 pages with it until now. The light that is labeled ?check print cartridge? goes on every time I turn the printer on. I can still scan, the only function that is affected is printing. I tried removing the black cartridge and reinserting it, cleaning the joints, nothing works. I would appreciate your help.
You can get this message even when the cartridge is the right one, but the joints are covered in ink. Try the following solution- fill a bowl with hot water (not boiling hot), 3 mm high, remove the cartridge and place it so only the joints are submerged in the water, for a minute or 2. Dry it well, clean the joints again and place it in the printer. Good luck.
